Why is there no audio from my Hikvision camera?

  • Check for a built-in microphone: Ensure the camera has an integrated microphone or an external one connected.
  • Enable audio settings: In the camera’s web interface, go to “Configuration” > “Audio” and ensure that audio is enabled.
  • Check NVR settings: Verify that the NVR is configured to record audio along with video.
  • Test playback: During playback, ensure the volume is turned up and that the audio track is selected.
