The Dahua DHI-ARA13-W2 Wireless Outdoor Siren is a robust security device designed for outdoor environments, providing loud alarms to deter potential threats. It operates across a wide temperature range from -25°C to 60°C, making it suitable for various climates. The siren offers multiple alarm sounds, including fire, medical, and intrusion alerts, with a maximum sound pressure level of 104.9 dB, ensuring it’s highly audible. The device features two-way communication and frequency hopping to maintain secure connections, even at distances up to 1,200 meters in open areas. It’s powered by four AA batteries with a life expectancy of up to 3.4 years, but it can also be connected to a 12V DC power source. The siren is equipped with tamper detection, low-battery warnings, and supports remote updates via the cloud. The IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and water, making it ideal for outdoor use in residential and urban settings. Its design includes 12 LED alarm groups, offering both visual and audio alerts during an emergency.
